Dr. Golen and his team are kind, professional, and listened to my concerns. I was not just a “number.” They took their time to make sure I felt comfortable and understood what I must do to help my eye heal. I just had a complete & thorough ophthalmology exam, including dilation in under an hour. This is the most efficiently run ophthalmologist I’ve been to in my 30 years in Central Florida. I made the appointment on line and was seen in less than 24 hours. The office staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. Dr. Golen has an excellent bedside manner, takes time to listen to your concerns and addresses them. I drive an hour to see Dr.Golen. I’m a nurse so I understand the ‘lingo’ so I understand medical stuff easier than most. Dr.Golen is straight forward, kind, compassionate. I had trouble with my gps and had difficulty finding his building so I was late and he still saw me. Thank you Dr.Golen.

My trip to Dr. Golan was one of urgency. My left eye was bloodshot, painful, and I did not know of an ophthalmologist. On my call, the office was helpful and friendly. She set the phone down to speak with Dr Golan. They squeezed me in at noon the next day and took care of my eye. Thankfully it was not serious- but if it was; my eye and vision were in good hands. They earned my appreciation and future business!
